The BBL procedure combines two operations in one surgical session: liposuction of donor areas — typically the abdomen, flanks, lower back, and thighs — to harvest the fat needed for transfer, followed by re-injection of purified, concentrated fat into the gluteal region to increase volume, enhance projection, and improve shape. The liposuction component is performed using SAFELipo technique (as used across the practice), which provides cleaner fat harvesting and better donor-site contouring.
