§1.Who we are#
Longevity.haus is operated by CarbonOS Inc, a corporation incorporated in the State of Wyoming, USA ("CarbonOS," "Longevity.haus," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("you," "your," or "User") and CarbonOS governing your access to and use of the Longevity.haus website, mobile experiences, APIs, and related services (the "Platform").
By creating an account, making a booking, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional terms presented at the point of a specific transaction. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
§2.What the Platform is (and isn't)#
Longevity.haus is a marketplace that helps users discover, compare, and book healthcare, diagnostic, and longevity-related services offered by independent third-party clinics, laboratories, hospitals, and practitioners ("Providers").
- We are not a healthcare provider. We do not diagnose, treat, examine, advise on, or perform any medical, diagnostic, surgical, dental, or wellness service.
- We are not a doctor, clinician, or insurance company. Nothing on the Platform constitutes medical advice, a medical opinion, or a recommendation to undergo any particular treatment.
- Providers are independent contractors of their own businesses. They are not our employees, partners, joint venturers, agents, or representatives. We do not control how they provide care.
- Information may be incomplete or out of date. Pricing, availability, credentials, photos, descriptions, and other Provider information are supplied by Providers or aggregated from public sources. We do not guarantee accuracy.
- We do not verify Providers. We do not independently verify the licensure, registration, qualifications, training, insurance, accreditation, background, ownership, or regulatory standing of any Provider, clinician, or facility, beyond cursory checks of publicly available information at the time we list them. You are responsible for satisfying yourself of a Provider's suitability before booking.
- Rankings, badges, and recommendations are editorial. Search results, "best of" lists, featured placements, badges, and similar surfaces reflect our editorial and commercial judgement (including, where applicable, paid placements, commercial relationships, and affiliate arrangements). They are not a certification, endorsement, or guarantee of the Provider's quality, safety, or outcomes.
§3.Eligibility and accounts#
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract under the laws of your jurisdiction to use the Platform or make a booking. If you are booking on behalf of another person (e.g. a family member), you represent that you have the legal authority to do so and to agree to these Terms on their behalf.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, for all activity under your account, and for ensuring the information you provide is accurate, current, and complete. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably suspect of fraud, abuse, or harm to other users.
§3.1Communications and SMS / messaging consent#
By providing your email address or mobile number you consent to receive transactional communications about your account and bookings (e.g. confirmations, reminders, rescheduling notices, refund updates, security notices, and policy changes). Where you separately opt in, we may also send you marketing communications, which you can withdraw at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in the message or by emailing support@longevity.haus.
For SMS: message frequency varies based on your activity. Message and data rates may apply from your mobile carrier. Reply STOP to any message to opt out of further SMS, or HELP for assistance. Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of any purchase. We do not sell mobile information to third parties for their own marketing.
§4.Bookings#
§4.1How a booking works#
When you book through the Platform, you are entering into a direct agreement with the Provider for the relevant treatment, service, or appointment. The contract for the treatment itself is between you and the Provider. Longevity.haus facilitates the booking and, in some cases, the payment — but it is not a party to the underlying treatment contract.
§4.2Confirmation and changes#
A booking is not confirmed until you receive a confirmation from the Platform or the Provider. Providers may need to reschedule, substitute clinicians, or cancel for clinical, operational, or safety reasons. Where this happens we will use reasonable efforts to notify you and to assist with rebooking or refund where appropriate.
§4.3Pre-treatment requirements#
Some services require fasting, medication adjustments, prior consultations, lab work, identification, or other preparation. You are responsible for following the Provider's instructions. Failure to follow them may result in the appointment being delayed, rescheduled, or treated as a no-show, in which case fees may not be refundable.
§5.Payments#
§5.1Payment models#
Depending on the Provider and treatment, payment is taken in one of two ways:
- Connected-account model. Payment is processed using Stripe Connect. The contract for the underlying healthcare service remains between you and the Provider. The party shown as the merchant, business of record, or settlement merchant for the payment transaction itself depends on the specific Stripe configuration used for that checkout (including whether the payment is processed on-behalf-of the Provider) and will be identified to you at checkout and in the payment record. CarbonOS does not represent that the Provider is the merchant or business of record for a payment unless that is in fact the configured payment flow for that transaction. Longevity.haus collects a platform commission and Stripe deducts its processing fees.
- Platform-collected model. Payment is collected by Longevity.haus, acting as a limited collection agent expressly appointed by the Provider for the limited purpose of accepting payment from you on the Provider's behalf. We onward-settle the corresponding amount to the Provider, less our platform commission and any applicable fees. The Provider remains responsible for delivering the underlying treatment and for any tax obligations arising from the service itself. Your payment obligation to the Provider for the booked service is satisfied to the extent payment is successfully received by us in this capacity.
Which model applies will be made clear at checkout. In all cases your card statement may appear as "Longevity.haus," "CarbonOS," the Provider's trading name, or our payment processor. Payment processing fees, currency-conversion costs, payout costs, and any other charges levied by Stripe (or any successor or alternative payment processor) may be deducted from the amount we settle to the Provider, from our platform commission, or in some cases passed through to you at checkout. The split between these sources may vary by country, payment method, and the Stripe product configuration in use at the time, and does not change the total you are charged for the booking.
§5.2Currency, taxes, and fees#
Prices are shown in the currency selected at checkout. Any currency conversion is performed by your card issuer or by Stripe and may incur fees outside our control. Prices are inclusive of applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST only where expressly stated. You are responsible for any duties, levies, or taxes not collected by us.
§5.3Authorisation#
By submitting payment information you authorise us, Stripe, and any other payment service we use, to charge the payment method you provide for the booking total, plus any later charges expressly authorised by you (e.g. add-on services, no-show fees disclosed by the Provider, or rescheduling fees).
§5.4Refund liability and chargeback losses#
CarbonOS is not a guarantor of the Provider and does not insure the Provider's obligation to deliver the treatment, to provide a refund, or to pay damages. Where you are entitled to a refund, the refund will be funded out of amounts CarbonOS has not yet remitted to the Provider, by recovery from the Provider, or — only where CarbonOS has expressly agreed at checkout or in writing — out of CarbonOS's own funds. Where a payment has already been settled to the Provider's connected account at the time of a refund or chargeback, CarbonOS's obligation is limited to making reasonable commercial efforts to recover the amount from the Provider; the underlying refund obligation remains with the Provider.
§6.Cancellations, rescheduling, and refunds#
§6.1Default refund policy#
The full rules — including the cancellation timeframes, the refund exceptions, the rescheduling rules, no-show treatment, and the processing timeline — are set out in our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. In summary:
- 72+ hours before the appointment: full refund, less non-refundable third-party fees.
- 24 to 72 hours before: 50% refund, or full credit toward a rescheduled appointment within 90 days.
- Less than 24 hours before, or any no-show: non-refundable.
- Rescheduling: one free reschedule per booking with 48+ hours' notice, subject to availability.
Where a clinic publishes its own cancellation policy at checkout, that clinic policy applies in place of the default above.
§6.2How to request a refund#
Email support@longevity.haus with your booking reference. We aim to acknowledge requests within two (2) business days and to process approved refunds within ten (10) business days, though your bank may take additional time to credit the refund to your statement. Refunds are made to the original payment method.
§6.3Provider-initiated cancellations#
If a Provider cancels your appointment and is unable to offer a comparable alternative acceptable to you, you are entitled to a full refund of amounts paid through the Platform.
§6.4Disputes about treatment#
Refunds in respect of clinical complaints, allegations of negligence, or dissatisfaction with the treatment itself are a matter between you and the Provider. We may, at our discretion and without obligation, assist by sharing booking records, providing the Provider's contact details, or pausing settlement of disputed funds while the issue is investigated. We do not adjudicate clinical disputes.
§6.5Chargebacks#
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer — most issues are resolved faster directly. If a chargeback is filed, we may share booking records, communications, and identification information with the card network and the Provider as needed to respond. Chargebacks found to be fraudulent or in bad faith may result in suspension of your account.
§6.6Travel disruption and force majeure#
CarbonOS is not responsible for travel-related losses arising from events outside our reasonable control, including (without limitation) visa refusals or delays, passport or border-control issues, airline schedule changes, flight cancellations or diversions, baggage loss, accommodation problems, weather, strikes, civil unrest, public-health emergencies, government action, sanctions, war, terrorism, natural disasters, or infrastructure outages. The cost of flights, hotels, transfers, visas, vaccinations, time off work, and any other travel arrangements you make in connection with a booking is your responsibility, and we strongly recommend appropriate travel and medical-travel insurance. If a Provider becomes unable to deliver a booked treatment because of such an event, your remedy in respect of the Platform is limited to a refund or rescheduling of the amount paid for the treatment itself in accordance with §6.
§7.Medical disclaimer#
The Platform, all content on it, and all communications you receive from us or through the Platform are for general informational purposes only. This includes, without limitation: written descriptions, articles, comparisons, biomarker explanations, treatment guides, listicles, AI-generated or AI-assisted summaries and answers, machine translations, search results, rankings, "best of" lists, editorial recommendations, support emails and chat replies, copy supplied to us by Providers, and information surfaced from third-party sources. None of it is medical advice, none of it establishes a doctor-patient relationship with CarbonOS, and none of it is a substitute for professional consultation, diagnosis, or treatment by a licensed healthcare provider.
Always seek the advice of a qualified clinician with any questions you may have regarding your health, a medical condition, a treatment, a test result, or any decision you are considering. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information you have read on the Platform. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
§7.1Support is not clinical advice#
Our support team can help with bookings, payments, refunds, and how the Platform works. They are not clinicians and cannot give clinical advice. They cannot triage symptoms, interpret test results, recommend treatments, comment on suitability for a procedure, advise on medications, or provide a second opinion. If you are seeking clinical guidance, contact a qualified healthcare provider or, in an emergency, your local emergency services.
§8.Medical tourism and travel#
Many bookings on the Platform involve travel to another city or country. Travelling for medical care carries additional risks, including (without limitation) post-procedure complications away from your usual clinician, differences in regulatory regimes, language barriers, infection-control standards, follow-up access, the suitability of long flights after certain procedures, and difficulties pursuing legal remedies in a foreign jurisdiction.
You are solely responsible for: arranging valid travel documents, visas, vaccinations, accommodation, and travel and medical insurance; obtaining independent medical advice regarding the suitability of the treatment for your circumstances; and complying with all applicable laws of your home jurisdiction and the destination jurisdiction. We strongly recommend medical-travel insurance that covers complications arising from elective treatment abroad.
§9.Acceptable use#
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or fraudulent purpose;
- Submit information that is false, misleading, infringing, or that you do not have the right to submit;
- Attempt to access, scrape, copy, or harvest data from the Platform other than as expressly permitted (including, without limitation, scraping pricing, Provider data, or user content);
- Interfere with the Platform's operation, attempt to bypass security or rate limits, or introduce malware;
- Use the Platform to transmit unsolicited communications, harassment, hate speech, or material that is otherwise objectionable;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except to the extent this restriction is unenforceable under applicable law.
§10.User content and reviews#
If you submit reviews, ratings, photos, comments, questions, or other material ("User Content"), you grant CarbonOS a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable licence to host, store, reproduce, display, adapt, distribute, and use that User Content in connection with operating, promoting, and improving the Platform. You retain ownership of your User Content.
You represent that your User Content is accurate, reflects your genuine experience, does not infringe any third-party rights, does not contain confidential medical information about other people, and complies with applicable law. We may edit, refuse, or remove User Content at our discretion, including content we believe to be defamatory, fake, or in breach of these Terms.
§10.1Honest reviews; disclosure of material connections#
Reviews on the Platform must reflect your honest, first-hand experience. We do not pay users for positive reviews and we do not condition perks, refunds, or future discounts on the content of a review. If you have a material connection to a Provider (for example, you are an employee, owner, family member, paid promoter, or affiliate of that Provider, or you received a free or discounted treatment in exchange for a review), you must clearly and conspicuously disclose that connection in the review itself. We may remove reviews that violate this section without notice. Where we surface aggregated ratings or editorial picks, those reflect our own judgement and, where applicable, paid placements or commercial relationships disclosed in §2.
§11.Intellectual property#
The Platform, including its software, design, branding, copy, treatment data, biomarker guides, and aggregated information, is owned by CarbonOS or licensed to it and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform for its intended purpose. All other rights are reserved.
§11.1Copyright complaints (DMCA)#
If you believe that material on the Platform infringes your copyright, send a notice under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act to our designated agent at legal@longevity.haus with subject line "DMCA Notice." Your notice must include: (i) a physical or electronic signature of the rights-holder or authorised agent; (ii) identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed; (iii) identification of the material on the Platform that is claimed to be infringing, with sufficient detail for us to locate it (e.g. the URL); (iv) your contact information; (v) a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorised by the rights-holder, its agent, or the law; and (vi) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on behalf of the rights-holder. We may remove or disable access to material in response to a valid notice and will, where appropriate, accept counter-notices in accordance with the DMCA. We may terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
§12.Disclaimers#
To the maximum extent permitted by law: The Platform and all content, services, and bookings available through it are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and quiet enjoyment.
We make no representation or warranty that any Provider is qualified, licensed, insured, competent, available at the times shown, or will perform any service to a particular standard or with a particular outcome. We do not warrant that information on the Platform (including pricing, availability, descriptions, photos, biomarker information, or translations) is accurate, complete, current, or error-free.
§13.Limitation of liability#
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- CarbonOS, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, suppliers, and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunity, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform, any booking, any Provider, or any treatment.
- Clinical and treatment-related claims. For any claim relating in whole or in part to clinical care, examination, diagnosis, treatment, advice, products, complications, outcomes, follow-up, infection, or any other harm caused by a Provider — including physical injury, illness, death, mental harm, misdiagnosis, mistreatment, or any other adverse outcome arising from any service performed by, advice given by, or product supplied by a Provider, or from your travel to or from an appointment — CarbonOS's aggregate liability to you is zero, save for liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
- Platform-conduct claims. For all other claims arising out of or related to the Platform — for example, claims about how we operate the marketplace itself, our website, our editorial content, our communications, or our handling of payments and refunds — CarbonOS's aggregate liability to you for all such claims arising out of or related to the Platform or any single booking, regardless of the legal theory, is limited to the greatest of (a) the platform commission CarbonOS actually retained in respect of the booking giving rise to the claim, (b) the total fees we received from you in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (c) five hundred US dollars (US$500).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, gross negligence, willful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be excluded by applicable law.
§14.Indemnification#
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless CarbonOS and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to (a) your use of the Platform, (b) your breach of these Terms, (c) your violation of any law or third-party right, (d) any User Content you submit, (e) any dispute between you and a Provider, or (f) any chargeback found to have been filed in bad faith.
§15.Third-party services#
The Platform integrates with third-party services including Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (delivery and security), and various analytics tools. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or content of third-party services.
§16.Changes to these Terms#
We may update these Terms from time to time. The version date at the top of this page indicates when the Terms were last revised. Material changes will be communicated by updating the version date and, where appropriate, by notice through the Platform or by email. Continued use of the Platform after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
§17.Termination#
You may stop using the Platform at any time and may close your account by emailing support@longevity.haus. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including breach of these Terms, suspected fraud, or to comply with law. Sections which by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnification, governing law, and dispute resolution) will survive.
§18.Governing law and dispute resolution#
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights under your local law and to §18.1 below, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, USA, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Each party waives any right to a jury trial. Claims must be brought in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, or representative action, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
§18.1Binding arbitration (US users only)#
If you are a resident of, or your dispute arises in, the United States, you and CarbonOS agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Platform, or any booking — other than the Excluded Claims below — will be resolved by final, binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules (or the then-current consumer rules), and not in court. The arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator. The seat of the arbitration is Wyoming, USA; the arbitrator may permit appearances by video. The arbitrator's award may be entered in any court of competent jurisdiction. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this clause.
Class-action waiver. Arbitration under this section will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action. The arbitrator may not consolidate claims and may not preside over any form of representative or class proceeding. If a court decides that this class-action waiver is unenforceable in respect of a particular claim, that claim (and only that claim) will be severed and brought in court; the remainder of this section continues to apply to all other claims.
Excluded Claims. The following may be brought in court instead of arbitration: (a) claims that qualify for small-claims court in the county of your residence (provided the claim remains in that court on an individual basis); (b) claims for injunctive or other equitable relief in respect of intellectual-property infringement, misuse of confidential information, or unauthorised access to the Platform; and (c) claims of fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or unauthorised use of a payment method.
30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by sending written notice to legal@longevity.haus with the subject line "Arbitration Opt-Out" within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms (or, for users who already have an account, within thirty (30) days of the version date at the top of this page). The notice must include your full name, the email address on your account, and a statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms, including the choice-of-law, class-action waiver, jury-trial waiver, and Wyoming-courts provisions, which continue to apply.
This section does not apply to users outside the United States, except where they voluntarily elect arbitration. Mandatory consumer-protection rights of users in the EU, UK, Australia, and other jurisdictions remain unaffected.
§19.Miscellaneous#
- Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented at the point of a transaction, are the entire agreement between you and CarbonOS regarding the Platform.
- Severability. If any provision is held to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
- No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
- Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
- Force majeure. Neither party is liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
