Aviva Medical Spa offers platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) treatments for facial rejuvenation. Blood is drawn, centrifuged, and the concentrated growth factor fraction is either injected or applied topically after microneedling. PRF uses a lower centrifuge speed with no anticoagulants, producing a fibrin gel richer in growth factors. Services include PRP/PRF facial injections and the Vampire Facial (PRP + SkinPen). Sessions run 45–90 minutes depending on protocol.
Platelet-rich plasma and platelet-rich fibrin therapies at Aviva Medical Spa harness the body's own regenerative biology to rejuvenate skin. The process begins with a small blood draw of 10 to 20 ml, which is placed in a centrifuge for eight to twelve minutes. This separates the blood into its components, concentrating platelets and growth factors — PDGF, VEGF, TGF-beta, EGF, and others — into a small volume of plasma that can be injected or topically applied. PRF differs from PRP in two key ways: the centrifuge spins at a lower speed (no anticoagulants used), and the resulting product forms a fibrin matrix that releases growth factors over a more sustained period. The gel-like consistency makes PRF particularly well suited to delicate areas like the under-eye hollows and temples, where traditional fillers may create unwanted heaviness. Facial PRP/PRF injections restore subtle volume, improve skin quality, and stimulate fibroblast activity for gradual collagen production. The Vampire Facial amplifies microneedling results by flooding the fresh micro-channels with activated growth factors at the moment the skin's healing response is triggered. Results build over four to eight weeks and typically last twelve months or more. Treatment duration is 45 to 60 minutes for facial injections and 60 to 90 minutes for the Vampire Facial. Serving Miami Design District, Wynwood, Brickell, Coconut Grove, and greater South Florida.
