The direct brow lift places incisions immediately above the brow hairs for very targeted lateral brow elevation with minimal scalp disruption, appropriate for select patients including those with prior scalp surgery. Brow lift is frequently performed in combination with upper blepharoplasty, where the brow elevation reduces the burden on the eyelid excision and produces a more natural, rested result, and with facelift for upper and lower face rejuvenation in a single operative session.
