Open rhinoplasty (through a small external incision at the base of the columella) provides optimal access for complex reshaping, while closed rhinoplasty (entirely internal incisions) is suitable for less extensive corrections. All rhinoplasty procedures are performed in an accredited surgical facility on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. The recovery period involves nasal splinting for one to two weeks and mild swelling for several months, with final results visible at 12 months post-operation.
