Victorian Cosmetic Institute's Total Facial Rejuvenation programme is the clinic's flagship multi-modality approach to comprehensive non-surgical facial renewal, combining diagnostic technology with a bespoke combination treatment plan tailored to each Melbourne patient's individual anatomy, skin type, and ageing concerns. The programme begins with a 1-hour consultation involving both a Cosmetic Doctor and a Skin Clinician — ensuring that aesthetic injectable assessment and skin science expertise are integrated from the outset. At every appointment, VISIA Skin Analysis is performed — a standardised multispectral imaging system that quantifies and maps surface and subsurface skin features including UV damage, pigmentation, pore size, wrinkles, redness, and porphyrins — providing objective baseline data and measurable benchmarks for tracking treatment response. Vectra 3D facial photography is available for detailed volumetric mapping and before-and-after documentation. The programme is designed to address the full range of facial ageing drivers simultaneously rather than treating individual signs in isolation: volume loss and deflation (addressed with hyaluronic acid dermal fillers and bio-stimulator injections); dynamic expression lines and muscle hyperactivity (anti-wrinkle injectables); skin quality, pigmentation, and superficial texture (IPL skin rejuvenation, Fraxel laser, CO2/Erbium/Ruby lasers, chemical peels); structural skin laxity and collagen depletion (EXION Fractional RF microneedling, Ultherapy Prime ultrasound SMAS lifting); vascular redness and broken vessels (Excel V+ and Fotona laser); and hydration and skin barrier restoration (Emfusion hydration therapy). Dr Gavin Chan, who trained for cosmetic pharmaceutical companies before founding VCI in Melbourne in 2004, brings 20-plus years of multi-modality combination experience to the programme. Patients across Melbourne's eastern suburbs and broader Victoria seek out VCI's combination approach as an alternative to surgical intervention, particularly those wanting to address multiple ageing concerns efficiently within a single managed treatment plan.
