PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) and exosome aesthetic treatments at Dr. GolBerg's Park Avenue practice deliver regenerative biologics for skin rejuvenation, facial volume biostimulation, and hair restoration. PRF produces a dense fibrin scaffold that releases growth factors progressively for sustained collagen stimulation. Exosomes carry microRNA cargo for advanced intercellular signalling beyond growth factors alone. Used as standalone treatments or integrated into the signature Dr. G Lift protocol.
Dr. GolBerg's regenerative aesthetics programme at 910 Park Avenue incorporates PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) and exosome biologics as standalone treatments and as key components of the Dr. G Lift combination protocol. PRF is produced by centrifuging the patient's blood at a low speed and without anticoagulant additives, allowing fibrin to polymerise naturally into a three-dimensional scaffold that entraps platelets, leukocytes, and growth factors. This fibrin matrix releases its growth factor payload progressively over several days to weeks as the scaffold is enzymatically degraded in vivo — providing a sustained biostimulatory effect on local fibroblasts that is more prolonged than standard PRP's rapid release profile. Growth factors delivered through PRF include PDGF, TGF-β, VEGF, EGF, and FGF, which collectively signal fibroblast proliferation, collagen type I and type III synthesis, and neovascularisation. The gel consistency of PRF also allows it to be used as a mild autologous volumiser in areas of superficial volume loss such as the tear trough, nasolabial fold, and lips — providing a biological alternative or complement to hyaluronic acid fillers for patients seeking an autologous approach. Exosomes — extracellular vesicles measuring 30 to 150 nanometres secreted by stem cells and other cell types — carry a cargo of proteins, lipids, mRNA, and microRNA that function as intercellular signalling messengers. When applied to the skin or scalp via injection or topical delivery following microneedling, exosomes can be taken up by recipient cells including fibroblasts, keratinocytes, and follicular stem cells, where their microRNA cargo modulates gene expression to upregulate repair and regeneration pathways. Dr. GolBerg offers exosomes as an add-on to PRF treatments and as an integral component of the Dr. G Lift for patients who want the most advanced regenerative outcome. Indications include facial skin rejuvenation, under-eye rejuvenation, perioral line reduction, and scalp hair restoration.
