Liposuction at Vitenas Cosmetic Surgery employs the 'super wet' tumescent technique, in which a solution of saline, epinephrine, and local anesthetic is infused into the subcutaneous fat layer before fat removal begins. This approach constricts blood vessels to minimize bleeding and bruising, partially anesthetizes the area to improve patient comfort, and hydrates the fat cells to facilitate smoother, more uniform aspiration and more precise contouring compared to dry liposuction techniques. Dr. Vitenas performs liposuction across a wide range of body zones, including the abdomen, love handles and flanks, inner and outer thighs, knees, upper arms, back rolls, and submental (under-chin) area.
