A dermatology consultation at Dr SN Wong Skin Clinic is conducted directly by Dr Wong Su-Ni, a Senior Consultant Dermatologist with FRCP (London), FAMS (Dermatology), and over 20 years of clinical experience at Singapore's National Skin Centre and National University of Singapore. This is not a GP referral — every patient is seen by the specialist from the first visit. The consultation covers the full breadth of medical dermatology: acne (including cystic and hormonal acne), eczema (atopic, contact, and seborrhoeic dermatitis), psoriasis, hair loss (androgenetic alopecia, alopecia areata, telogen effluvium), nail disorders (fungal nail, nail dystrophies), urticaria (hives), viral warts, keloids, skin allergies, and screening for skin cancers and suspicious pigmented lesions. Dr Wong will take a thorough history, examine the affected area, and — where appropriate — perform a dermoscopy of lesions or arrange a biopsy for histopathological confirmation. The consultation concludes with a clear diagnosis and a customised treatment plan, which may include topical or systemic pharmacological therapy, procedural intervention (cryotherapy, electrosurgery), or referral for laser or surgical treatment within the same practice. As the former Chief of the Psoriasis Unit at the National Skin Centre and a former NUS clinical examiner, Dr Wong brings subspecialist-level knowledge to each consultation, making this clinic particularly well-suited for patients with complex or treatment-resistant skin conditions.
