The eye area is often the first region of the face to show visible signs of ageing — excess upper-eyelid skin can hood the lash line, create a fatigued appearance, and in significant cases impair the superior visual field. Lower eyelid changes manifest as hollowing, festoons, or persistent puffiness from herniated orbital fat. Brow descent compounds both issues by pushing more skin onto the upper lid and reducing the vertical dimension of the visible eye.
