Glowlight Med Spa's facial rejuvenation services include Aerolase laser treatments for non-invasive skin renewal and VI Peel chemical peels for accelerated exfoliation and tone correction. Aerolase uses 1064 nm Nd:YAG technology to target pigmentation, redness, acne, and texture without disruption to the skin barrier. VI Peel addresses sun damage, melasma, fine lines, and acne scarring through a blended-acid formula. Both treatments are available at the Bellevue Main Street clinic.
Glowlight Med Spa's facial rejuvenation programme pairs two proven clinical modalities — Aerolase laser therapy and VI Peel chemical peeling — to address a wide range of skin concerns without the commitment or downtime of ablative or surgical procedures. The Aerolase Neo Elite uses a 1064 nm Nd:YAG laser with an 0.65-millisecond pulse duration, a combination that is exceptionally well tolerated across all Fitzpatrick skin types including darker complexions (IV–VI) that are frequently unsuitable for more aggressive laser systems. The millisecond pulse duration is short enough to disable the thermal diffusion that causes the epidermal damage and post-inflammatory pigmentation risk seen with longer-pulsed systems, yet the 1064 nm wavelength still penetrates into the mid-dermis where it can effectively target melanin deposits in sunspots and lentigines, haemoglobin in dilated capillaries and rosacea-related redness, and sebaceous glands in acne-prone skin. Clients describe Aerolase treatments as comfortable with a warming or light snapping sensation; there is no need for topical anaesthetic in most cases, and post-treatment redness typically resolves within a few hours. VI Peel is a physician-strength chemical peel formulated with a blend of trichloroacetic acid (TCA), salicylic acid, phenol, vitamin C, and retinoic acid. The proprietary combination addresses multiple skin concerns simultaneously: TCA and phenol target deeper pigmentation and fine lines; salicylic acid exfoliates within the pore and treats active acne; vitamin C brightens and provides antioxidant support; retinoic acid accelerates cellular turnover. The VI Peel Precision Plus variant is particularly effective for melasma and stubborn hyperpigmentation. Peeling typically begins two to three days after application and is complete by day seven, revealing brighter, smoother skin with improved tone and reduced fine lines. Both services are available individually or as part of a combined facial rejuvenation treatment plan at Glowlight's Bellevue clinic. The medical team assesses each client's skin health, treatment history, and goals at consultation to recommend the most appropriate protocol and sequencing.
