The comprehensive wellness assessment at Huemn Health Optimization Houston is the clinic's entry-point experience for clients who want a thorough, functional-medicine-informed snapshot of their health — not just the basic chemistry panel a primary care physician might order. It is structured as a three-part encounter: a broad blood draw covering 60–90 markers, an InBody 570 body composition analysis, and a physician-reviewed results consultation with Dr. Juan Garcia, MD, who serves as the clinic's Chief Medical Officer. The InBody body composition scan runs in under five minutes and provides a segmental breakdown of lean muscle mass (per limb and trunk), total and visceral body fat, skeletal muscle mass, body water compartments (intracellular vs. extracellular), and a basal metabolic rate estimate. These metrics, combined with biomarker data, allow Dr. Garcia to identify patterns that lab values alone cannot reveal — for example, a client with normal BMI but elevated visceral fat, high hs-CRP, and borderline ApoB presents a very different cardiovascular risk profile than a client with the same BMI who has optimal body composition. The blood panel itself draws on the same marker set as the Baseline Functional Biomarker Assessment: comprehensive metabolic panel, full lipid profile with ApoB and Lp(a), HbA1c, homocysteine, hs-CRP, ferritin, a complete sex hormone panel (testosterone, estradiol, estrone, progesterone, DHEA-S, cortisol, LH, FSH, DHT, PSA in males, IGF-1), thyroid function (TSH, free T3, free T4), and vitamin D. For clients who want deeper coverage, the Advanced panel at $499 extends the assessment to approximately 90 markers, including more granular immune and nutritional panels. Following the scan and draw, Dr. Garcia reviews results and produces a personalised health optimisation plan. Depending on findings, the plan may incorporate dietary and lifestyle adjustments, targeted supplementation, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT for women, TRT for men) if hormonal deficiencies are identified, or peptide therapy protocols. First-time visitors to Huemn Houston receive a complimentary add-on service as part of their initial visit. The clinic's two Houston locations — Vintage Park (northwest Houston, 77070) and M-K-T Heights (77007) — are open seven days a week, making scheduling accessible for working professionals across the Houston metropolitan area including The Woodlands, Katy, Sugar Land, and Pearland.
