Preparation Required

Arrive with a clean face — no makeup, sunscreen, or heavy moisturizers. Avoid retinoids and strong exfoliants for 3–5 days before treatment. Do not wax or use depilatory creams on the treatment area for at least one week prior. Stay out of direct sun for 48 hours beforehand. Let your provider know if you have a history of cold sores (herpes simplex), as some treatments can trigger an outbreak.
