Laser Treatment - Pigmentation
Type
Laser
Duration
45 min
Laser treatment for age spots and pigmentation correction.
Laser pigmentation treatment uses targeted light energy to break down excess melanin deposits in the skin that cause dark spots, sun damage, melasma, and uneven skin tone. The laser energy is selectively absorbed by the melanin in hyperpigmented areas, fragmenting the pigment into particles small enough for your body's immune system to clear naturally. Different wavelengths and laser types (Q-switched Nd:YAG, picosecond lasers, IPL) are used depending on the depth and type of pigmentation. Superficial sun spots may respond in 1–2 sessions, while deeper conditions like melasma may require a longer treatment course with careful settings to avoid rebound darkening.
