RF Microneedling (Secret RF 2.0)

Secret RF 2.0 combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy delivered into the skin to tighten laxity and improve texture more powerfully than microneedling alone. The radiofrequency heats the deeper dermis to stimulate collagen and firm the skin, making it well suited to early jowls, crêpey eye-area skin and the neck. A short course gives the most noticeable lifting and tightening, and body areas can also be treated.

Secret RF 2.0 is a radiofrequency (RF) microneedling system that pairs the collagen-stimulating effect of microneedling with controlled RF energy released from insulated needle tips into the deeper layers of the skin. While the micro-needles trigger the surface healing response, the radiofrequency heats the dermis in a way associated with contraction of existing collagen and formation of new collagen and elastin — giving a firming, tightening effect that plain microneedling cannot achieve on its own. Expect redness and a feeling of mild tightness or warmth for a day or two, with little other downtime. It is particularly useful for early skin laxity — softening jowls, firming the lower face and neck, and improving crêpey skin around the eyes — as well as enlarged pores and some scarring, and the clinic can also treat the abdomen, thighs and arms. Because results build as collagen remodels, a course of around three sessions four to six weeks apart is recommended, with effects continuing to improve over the following months and maintenance once or twice a year.
