NutriDrip's Signature Lymphatic Drainage Massage is a manual therapy modality that uses specific light-pressure, rhythmic strokes performed in the direction of lymph flow to stimulate the lymphatic vessels and accelerate the movement of lymph fluid through the lymphatic network. Unlike the circulatory system, the lymphatic system has no central pump — it depends on muscle movement, breathing, and external manual stimulation to propel lymph through its vessels toward the thoracic duct for return to the bloodstream. Slow, purposeful strokes applied at the correct pressure — lighter than in standard massage — activate the superficial lymphangions (smooth muscle segments in lymph vessel walls) to contract and move fluid toward regional lymph nodes.
