Dermal fillers are injectable gels — most commonly made of hyaluronic acid (HA), a substance naturally found in your skin — that restore lost volume, smooth wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. Unlike anti-wrinkle injections that relax muscles, fillers physically add volume beneath the skin surface. They can plump thin lips, fill hollow under-eyes, restore cheek volume lost with aging, define the jawline, smooth nasolabial folds (smile lines), and soften marionette lines.
