Chemical Peel

Chemical peels at Perfect Visage use controlled application of exfoliating acids to remove damaged surface skin layers, accelerating cell renewal to improve tone, texture, fine lines, acne and pigmentation irregularities. Sessions cost 1,500 Kč and are tailored to skin type and concern, typically performed as a short course in the autumn–winter season.

A chemical peel works by applying a calibrated acid solution — commonly fruit acids (AHA such as glycolic or lactic acid), salicylic acid (BHA) or combination formulas — to dissolve the bonds between dead surface cells and trigger an organised renewal of the epidermis. As the old layer sheds, fresher, more evenly pigmented and smoother skin replaces it, and the mild controlled injury stimulates collagen production in the superficial dermis. At Perfect Visage the peel formula and strength are selected at the in-person assessment according to skin type, sensitivity and goal: brightening dull or tired skin, softening fine lines, reducing acne and excess oil production, fading post-inflammatory marks and superficial pigmentation, or simply refreshing skin texture before an event. Each session costs 1,500 Kč. A session takes around 30–45 minutes: cleansing, degreasing, acid application under supervision, neutralisation and a soothing finishing protocol. Depending on peel depth, the skin may be slightly pink for a day and flake lightly for several days; daily SPF is mandatory during the course. Superficial peels are typically repeated every two to four weeks in a course of three to six sessions, ideally outside the high-summer months. Peels combine well with mesotherapy, skinboosters and Hollywood Peel sessions in a broader skin-quality plan.
