The pelvic floor is a hammock of muscle supporting the bladder, bowel and reproductive organs. Weakening — common after childbirth, with menopause-related tissue changes, or simply with age — manifests as stress urinary incontinence (leaks when laughing, sneezing or exercising), urgency, reduced core stability and diminished intimate sensation. Voluntary Kegel exercises help but are difficult to perform correctly and consistently. Electromagnetic pelvic floor stimulation solves the compliance problem: the patient sits fully clothed on a chair-shaped applicator while focused electromagnetic pulses trigger complete, deep contractions of the entire pelvic floor musculature — thousands per half-hour session, at an intensity unachievable voluntarily.
