Laser epilation works by selective photothermolysis: laser light at a melanin-absorbed wavelength travels down the hair shaft and converts to heat at the follicle root, disabling the follicle's ability to regrow hair. Only follicles in the active (anagen) growth phase respond at each session — roughly 20–30% of hairs at any time — which is why a course is required to address the full follicle population. Perfect Visage recommends repeating the treatment five times, supported by a 4+1 package in which the fifth session is free. Pricing is per zone per session: upper lip 1,000 Kč and full face 1,800 Kč at the entry end, with underarms, arms, bikini line, intimate area plus bikini, calves, full legs and the back priced by size up to 6,500 Kč per session (exact quote confirmed at consultation or by phone). Sessions are spaced four to eight weeks apart depending on the body area's hair cycle. A session takes 10–40 minutes depending on zone. The skin should be shaved a day before but not waxed or plucked for four weeks prior (the follicle root must be present), and tanned skin should be avoided — treatments are ideally scheduled outside peak summer or with strict sun protection. After treatment the area may be pink for a few hours; treated hairs shed over the following one to three weeks. After a complete course most patients see substantial long-term reduction, with occasional maintenance sessions for hormonally active zones.
