A ten-substance urine drug screen covering amphetamine, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, cocaine, ecstasy (MDMA), methamphetamine, opiates, methadone, tricyclic antidepressants, and marijuana (THC). Performed by immunoassay at PKBH Olomouc on a single spot urine sample — no blood draw required. At 454 Kč with same-day results, this is among the most affordable validated drug panels in the Czech Republic. Walk-in, no referral.
A ten-panel urine drug screen is the standard assay for workplace drug testing, pre-employment screening, probation compliance, custody disputes, and personal health monitoring. PKBH's panel covers the ten substance classes most commonly screened in Czech occupational health and clinical settings. **Substances screened (immunoassay method):** 1. **Amphetamine** — covers amphetamine and substituted amphetamine derivatives used recreationally. 2. **Barbiturates** — sedative-hypnotic drugs (phenobarbital, secobarbital). Positive results require prescription documentation. 3. **Benzodiazepines** — tranquillisers and sleep medications (diazepam, lorazepam, clonazepam). Screens detect most common BZDs; some newer or atypical benzodiazepines may not be detected. 4. **Cocaine (benzoylecgonine)** — detects the primary cocaine metabolite, present in urine for 2–4 days after use (up to 14 days in heavy users). 5. **Ecstasy (MDMA / 3,4-methylenedioxymethamphetamine)** — the active component in recreational "ecstasy" tablets. 6. **Methamphetamine** — covers methamphetamine and related stimulants. Note: ephedrine-containing cold medications can produce cross-reactive positive results. 7. **Opiates** — screens for morphine, codeine, and heroin metabolites. High-dose codeine medications and poppy-seed ingestion can cause positive results. 8. **Methadone** — detected separately from general opiates; relevant for opioid replacement therapy monitoring. 9. **Tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs)** — includes amitriptyline, imipramine, doxepin. Relevant in psychiatric medication monitoring and overdose investigation. 10. **Marijuana (THC/cannabinoids)** — detects delta-9-THC metabolites. Detection window is 3–4 days for occasional users; up to 30 days in daily users. **Method:** Immunoassay-based lateral flow or enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) on spot urine. Positive immunoassay results can be confirmed by GC-MS (gas chromatography–mass spectrometry) at a reference laboratory — ask PKBH about reflex confirmation testing if medicolegal documentation is required. **Detection windows (general guidance):** Amphetamines 2–3 days; cocaine 2–4 days; opiates 2–3 days; marijuana 3–30 days (use-frequency dependent); benzodiazepines 1–7 days (drug dependent); barbiturates 2–4 days. **Who benefits:** Employers conducting occupational health drug screening; individuals subject to probation or legal monitoring; parents concerned about adolescent substance use; athletes in non-WADA settings monitoring for prohibited substances; anyone seeking personal confirmation of a drug-free status. **Preparation:** Provide a spot (mid-stream) urine sample at the PKBH collection site. No fasting required. No blood draw. Walk in from 07:00 — no appointment or referral needed.

Panel Categories
Biomarkers Tested
6A non-essential metal with no biological function. Elevated aluminium can result from occupational exposure, dialysis, or antacid use. Chronic exposure is associated with bone disease and neurological effects.
A toxic metalloid found in contaminated water, rice, seafood, and industrial settings. Chronic low-level exposure increases cancer risk and damages the cardiovascular, nervous, and endocrine systems. Testing distinguishes organic (dietary) from inorganic (toxic) forms.
A highly toxic heavy metal primarily from cigarette smoke, industrial exposure, and contaminated food. Cadmium accumulates in the kidneys and liver, causing kidney damage, bone loss, and increased cancer risk with chronic exposure.
A toxic heavy metal with no safe level of exposure. Even low blood lead levels cause cognitive impairment, kidney damage, and cardiovascular effects. Sources include old paint, contaminated water, occupational exposure, and certain imported products.
A toxic heavy metal found in certain fish (methylmercury), dental amalgams, and industrial sources. Mercury targets the nervous system, causing tremors, cognitive changes, and sensory impairment. Fish consumption is the primary source for most people.
454 Kč per test. Urine-based — no blood draw fee applies. Price covers the ten-substance immunoassay screen on a single urine sample. No online booking — walk-in only; no appointment required. Results available same working day.
