Hair Transplant - FUE

Hair transplant surgery relocates healthy hair follicles from donor areas (typically the back and sides of the scalp, which are genetically resistant to balding) to thinning or bald areas. The two main techniques are FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction), where individual follicular units are harvested one by one using a micro-punch tool, and FUT (Follicular Unit Transplantation/strip method), where a strip of donor tissue is removed and follicles are dissected under magnification. Modern FUE variants include Sapphire FUE (using sapphire-tipped blades for smaller incisions and faster healing) and DHI (Direct Hair Implantation using a Choi pen for direct placement without pre-made channels). Transplanted hairs are permanent — they continue to grow naturally for life.
