PURE Medical Spa offers HydraFacial — one of the most widely recognised branded hydradermabrasion systems globally — at its Gold Coast Chicago location. The HydraFacial device uses a patented Vortex-Fusion technology to simultaneously exfoliate, extract, and infuse skin with customised serums in a multi-step protocol, differentiating it from traditional manual facials or chemical peels by combining mechanical and chemical action in a controlled, non-irritating delivery system. The standard protocol progresses through several sequential phases: vortex cleansing to remove surface debris and prepare the skin; a gentle glycolic and salicylic acid peel step to loosen intercellular bonds in the stratum corneum; vacuum-assisted extraction through the spiral tip design to clear congested pores of sebum plugs and impurities; and serum infusion delivering Antiox+ (antioxidants including green tea extract, horse chestnut seed extract), Brightalive (retinol-free skin brightening with kojic acid and botanical lighteners), Growth Factor (epidermal growth factors for anti-ageing support), and other targeted boosters. At PURE, HydraFacial is available in three tiers: Classic Plus (entry-level, 45–60 minutes, from $149), Deluxe Plus (adds targeted booster serum and/or lymphatic drainage, approximately $189–$199), and Elite Plus (full premium protocol with LED light therapy addition, approximately $229–$249). The treatment is suitable for all Fitzpatrick skin types including sensitive skin, as the device's flow is adjustable and the exfoliation is mechanised rather than abrasive. Common indications addressed at PURE include congested or enlarged pores, uneven skin texture, surface dullness, mild hyperpigmentation, fine lines around the eyes and mouth, and dehydrated skin. There is no downtime post-treatment — skin typically appears immediately brighter and more hydrated.
