Unlike standard superficial facelifts that only redrape skin, the deep plane approach releases and repositions the facial ligaments and musculofascial layers that anchor the ageing face, delivering a more natural and durable lift without the telltale pulled appearance associated with tension-based skin-only techniques. The PRESTO technique extends the classical deep plane approach to encompass the lateral brow and temple region (forehead lift component), the midface and malar fat pad (midface lift), the jowl line, and the neck and platysma muscle (neck lift / Mannequin lift).
