Lumecca delivers broad-spectrum pulsed light in the 500–600 nm and 800–1000 nm ranges, allowing selective targeting of both melanin-based pigmentation and oxyhaemoglobin in vascular structures within a single treatment platform. For pigmentation concerns — including solar lentigines, ephelides, melasma, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, and diffuse photodamage — the shorter wavelengths are absorbed preferentially by melanin, heating and fragmenting pigment granules, which surface and flake away over the following week to two weeks. For vascular targets — rosacea-associated facial redness, telangiectasia, discrete spider veins, and erythema — the longer wavelengths penetrate to the vessel and deliver heat directly to oxyhaemoglobin, causing coagulation and gradual vessel resorption. SoVous recommends two to four Lumecca sessions spaced three to four weeks apart for cumulative improvement. The profractional laser creates controlled micro-columns of ablative injury across the skin surface, stimulating a robust collagen remodelling response while leaving surrounding tissue intact for rapid recovery. This fractional approach is particularly effective for mild-to-moderate wrinkles, irregular skin texture, skin laxity, and blotchy tone, with results accumulating over three to six months post-treatment. A laser peel offering is also available as a lighter resurfacing option for clients seeking surface brightening with minimal downtime. Vascular laser treatment targets discrete spider veins on the face and body using thermal energy delivered to the vessel wall. LED light therapy provides a non-ablative option using specific wavelengths shown to reduce inflammation and support post-treatment skin recovery without any thermal component.
