BodyTite is the body contouring counterpart to FaceTite, applying the same dual-probe RFAL mechanism to larger body surface areas including the abdomen, flanks, arms, inner thighs, back, and other areas. The treatment works through two simultaneously applied electrodes: a small cannula-mounted internal probe (approximately 3 mm) inserted through a micro-puncture into the subcutaneous fat layer, and an external handpiece electrode placed on the skin surface in the same zone. Bipolar radiofrequency energy is delivered between the two electrodes, heating the tissue in between to therapeutic levels: the internal probe reaches approximately 70°C, causing thermal disruption of adipocyte membranes (lipolysis — the fat cells are structurally damaged and their contents become available for local resorption or aspiration); simultaneously, the skin surface is maintained at approximately 42–45°C by the external electrode, a temperature at which existing collagen fibres undergo thermal contraction and fibroblasts are stimulated to produce new collagen, resulting in immediate and delayed skin tightening. The thermal feedback system monitors tissue temperature in real time, maintaining the therapeutic zone without exceeding thresholds that would cause burns or unintended injury. The clinical result is a simultaneous reduction in localised fat volume and a tightening and lifting effect on the overlying skin, achieved through micro-access incisions that leave no visible scars. BodyTite is particularly valuable for patients who have mild-to-moderate fat excess and skin laxity in areas such as the inner arms, abdomen, or flanks, where standard liposuction alone can worsen the appearance of already lax skin by removing the internal support of the fat — a problem mitigated by the concurrent tightening effect of RFAL.
