Dermatology Consultation

Type

Dermatology Consultation

Duration

30 min

Specialist consultation with a board-certified FAMS dermatologist covering diagnosis and management of all skin, hair, and nail conditions — medical and aesthetic.

The Dermatology Practice offers consultant-level dermatology consultations with seven board-certified specialists, all Fellows of the Academy of Medicine Singapore (FAMS). Each consultation begins with a thorough clinical history and comprehensive skin examination to accurately diagnose the presenting condition. The consulting dermatologist will explain the diagnosis in plain language, outline the underlying cause, and recommend a personalised management plan that may include topical or systemic medications, procedural treatments, or lifestyle guidance. Consultations encompass the full breadth of dermatological care: inflammatory conditions (eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis), infections (tinea, impetigo, herpes), pigmentation disorders, urticaria, contact and allergic dermatitis, hair and scalp conditions, nail disorders, paediatric dermatology, and immunodermatological conditions such as pemphigoid, pemphigus, and cutaneous vasculitis. Patients with suspected skin cancer or atypical moles will receive a clinical and dermoscopic assessment, with referral for Mohs surgery or histopathology where indicated. The practice's multi-site model — covering Camden Medical Centre, Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre (Orchard), Gleneagles Medical Centre, and Mount Elizabeth Novena — provides convenient access to specialist-level skin care across central Singapore. Medical tourists are welcome; the practice's hospital-based locations facilitate access to on-site investigations and allied health services. Follow-up consultations are integrated into ongoing treatment protocols, with continuity of care maintained across all four sites.
