TruBody combines TruSculpt iD and TruSculpt Flex on the Cutera platform: TruSculpt iD uses monopolar radiofrequency energy delivered through a handpiece placed on the skin surface to heat subcutaneous fat cells to 45°C, inducing irreversible apoptosis (programmed cell death) in adipocytes which are then cleared by the lymphatic system over the following eight to twelve weeks — a single session is associated with an average of 24% fat reduction in the treated area; TruSculpt Flex uses multi-directional electrical stimulation to induce involuntary muscle contractions similar in intensity to an intensive resistance training session, building muscle mass and definition in the abdomen, glutes, or thighs.
