VELKÁ ortodoncie is a dedicated orthodontic specialist clinic located in the City Center building in central Ostrava, led by MUDr. Barbora Velká, MBA. The clinic focuses exclusively on orthodontics and dental hygiene, offering both Invisalign and Spark invisible clear aligners for adults, as well as fixed metal braces for children and adults. Clear aligner treatments are computer-planned, with each patient receiving a custom series of aligners changed approximately every two weeks. Patients wear aligners 20–22 hours per day and can remove them for eating and oral care, with no dietary restrictions and no metal components. The clinic has offered Spark aligners since May 2021, providing patients a choice between the two leading clear aligner systems based on their individual clinical needs. For Invisalign patients, the clinic provides Virtual Care remote monitoring using the Invisalign Lens device and My Invisalign app, allowing the orthodontist to track treatment progress digitally and reduce in-office visits. Dental hygiene services are performed using the EMS AIRFLOW PROPHYLAXIS MASTER system, and teeth whitening is available through the BlancOne system. Installment financing through Essox is available with no markup from November 2025. The clinic team of 10 includes four orthodontic assistants and two dental hygienists alongside the lead orthodontist.
