Professional teeth whitening uses peroxide-based bleaching agents (hydrogen peroxide or carbamide peroxide) at concentrations significantly higher than over-the-counter products to break down stain molecules in the tooth enamel and dentine. A light-curing unit or LED activation lamp accelerates the whitening reaction. Multiple gel applications are made during the session. The gum tissue is protected with a rubber dam or liquid barrier throughout. Results are immediately visible at the end of the appointment. **Pure Whitening home kit (5,000 Kč, including trays):** Custom whitening trays are fabricated from impressions or 3D scans of the patient's teeth, ensuring full coverage of every tooth surface without gel overflow onto the gums. The patient applies the whitening gel to the trays at home for a set duration each day (typically 30–60 minutes) over 10–14 nights. Gradual whitening is gentler on sensitive teeth and allows the patient to control the degree of lightening achieved. **Combined Pure Whitening (8,000 Kč, including trays):** Begins with an in-office Pure Whitening application to achieve an initial jump in shade, then continues with the home kit for consolidation and further lightening. Provides the most comprehensive result and extends the duration of the whitening effect. **Candidacy:** Best results are achieved on natural tooth enamel with extrinsic staining (from coffee, tea, wine, food pigments). Existing crowns, veneers, and composite restorations do not whiten and may need to be replaced after whitening if their shade no longer matches.
