Anatara Medicine, located at 1700 California Street in San Francisco's Pacific Heights neighbourhood, was founded in 2010 by Dr. Ahvie Herskowitz — a Johns Hopkins-fellowship-trained cardiologist, former Clinical Professor at UCSF, and past president of the American College for Advancement in Medicine. The practice operates under its Convergence Medicine Principle, integrating molecular and functional medicine, clinical nutrition, physical medicine, energy medicine, and Archetypal Medicine into personalised multi-modal protocols. The clinic's medical team includes MDs, naturopathic doctors, a licensed acupuncturist, and a functional medicine nutritionist, supported by a dedicated nursing team. Diagnostic services encompass genomic cardiovascular and neurological analysis, epigenomic profiling across hundreds of biomarkers, Lyme disease urine antigen testing, longevity assessments covering telomere length and mitochondrial function, and the proprietary HealthMap panel with over 2,000 biomarkers. IV services include Myers' Cocktail, NAD+, high-dose Vitamin C, glutathione, amino acids, chelation, and speciality neurodetoxification infusions. The clinic also offers Extracorporeal Blood Oxygenation and Ozonation (EBOO) and plasma filtration detox — a true plasma separation and ozonation protocol.
