The consultation is the entry point to B-Orto's orthodontic programme and the basis on which a personalised treatment plan is prepared. MUDr. Jiří Baumruk conducts a thorough clinical assessment of the occlusion (bite), crowding, spacing, and jaw relationship, supplemented by a 3D intraoral scan and NewTom digital X-ray for cases requiring skeletal or root assessment. Following the examination, the treatment options are explained: for most adult and teenage patients, clear aligner therapy using 3D-printed custom foil aligners is the preferred approach — offering discreet, comfortable correction with fewer in-clinic appointments via DentalMonitoring remote monitoring. Fixed braces are discussed as an alternative for cases where aligner mechanics are less suitable. The consultation includes an indicative treatment duration, expected number of aligner trays or appointments, estimated cost, and the planned approach to post-treatment retention.
