Dr. Daniel Barrett offers the full spectrum of breast surgery procedures, including augmentation with implants, mastopexy (breast lift), breast reduction, fat transfer, implant revision, explant, and capsular contracture removal. Augmentation procedures use the Keller funnel technique with triple antibiotic irrigation and on-table sizing. Reduction procedures utilise layered suturing for lasting shape. All surgeries are performed at the on-site Ivy Surgical Center under general anesthesia.

Breast augmentation can be performed through a transaxillary, inframammary, or periareolar incision, with implant placement either subglandular or submuscular depending on anatomy and patient goals. Dr. Barrett uses the Keller funnel for no-touch implant insertion and triple antibiotic pocket irrigation to minimise capsular contracture risk. On-table sizing with sizers lets patients confirm their chosen volume before final implants are placed. Recovery is typically four days of rest with a return to light work in approximately one week; final aesthetic results are visible at six months. Breast lift (mastopexy) addresses ptosis using a periareolar, lollipop, or anchor incision pattern chosen to match the degree of descent. Light activity can resume within two weeks, and exercise is cleared at six weeks. Breast reduction uses the lollipop technique with layered suturing to support the new breast mound long-term. At approximately four hours under general anesthesia, it may qualify for insurance coverage when medically necessary.
