The consultation is non-committal and is the starting point for patients who want an expert assessment before deciding on orthodontic treatment.

The orthodontic consultation at ELEJ DENT is conducted by Elena Ježková, a specialist orthodontist with dual postgraduate qualifications from Moscow and from Charles University in Hradec Králové. This is not a screening by a general dentist but a full specialist assessment. During the appointment, the orthodontist examines the current tooth positions, dental midlines, overjet and overbite, crossbites or open bites, spacing or crowding, and the relationship of the upper and lower jaw. Based on the clinical findings, she will discuss which treatment approach is most appropriate — SPARK clear aligners, fixed braces (metal or ceramic), removable functional appliances for growing patients, or a combination approach. For clear aligner candidates, the consultation will cover whether the case falls into SPARK 10, 20, or Advance territory based on the visual assessment, providing an early cost estimate before any records (scans, X-rays) are taken. If treatment is agreed at or after the consultation, a separate initial examination appointment (involving digital intraoral scanning, CBCT 3D radiography, and clinical photography) is booked to collect the precise diagnostic records needed to plan the treatment and place an aligner order.
