Drop-in access to shared ice baths maintained at 3–10°C, designed to reduce inflammation, accelerate recovery, and reset the nervous system. No booking required.
The Ice Bath Club's signature cold plunge experience places members in shared ice baths held at a precise 3–10°C — cold enough to trigger the acute physiological stress response that underlies the protocol's recovery benefits, including vasoconstriction and subsequent vasodilation, endorphin and noradrenaline release, and parasympathetic rebound. Unlike private cryotherapy chambers or gym-based cold plunge add-ons, TIBC's social format is intentional: communal immersion encourages members to breathe through discomfort together, building both physical and psychological resilience. The minimum immersion time is typically 2–3 minutes, with experienced members working up to 10–15 minutes across multiple rounds. Cold water immersion at this temperature range has supporting evidence for delayed-onset muscle soreness (DOMS) reduction, improved heart rate variability (HRV), and mood elevation via dopamine upregulation. The no-booking, drop-in model means sessions are accessible any day of the week from 7 AM to 10 PM across the East Coast, River Valley, and Duxton locations. Membership access and day-pass options are managed via the TIBC mobile app. Towels, lockers, and shorts are provided at the facility. The contrast therapy protocol — cycling between ice bath and sauna — is a popular member routine and is built into the club's flow by design.
